Hey! I'm Kate, and I've been organizing kinky parties in Barcelona and Amsterdam for over 4 years. During this time, I've traveled across half of Europe, attended hundreds of events, connected with local communities, and figured out where it's actually worth going - and where it's a waste of time.
This information isn't collected anywhere in one place. Google won't show you the best underground parties. TripAdvisor won't tell you which club has a genuinely safe atmosphere and respects consent. The locals know - but you need to know who to ask.
I'm sharing this guide because I believe access to quality, safe kinky spaces shouldn't be a privilege for the chosen few. Here you'll find only vetted places where I'd send my friends. No ads, no sponsorships - just honest recommendations from an insider.
But this isn't just a directory. These are your notes if you decide to travel somewhere during the holiday season or winter. I've compiled a calendar of what's happening during the winter period and where - so you can plan your trip around specific events.
I'd love any feedback about this guide - your emotions, additions, questions. Write to me on Telegram: @kittyguide
No bullshit. No ads. Just honest recommendations from someone who knows this scene from the inside.
I understand you probably already know our scene here, but I'd love to share once more. Upcoming events I'm organizing:

Next Friday! December 12 - Kinky Christmas
A very unique party and I'm inviting you!
from 15€

Let's start with the most popular city everyone talks about, but where you might have many questions and few answers.
KITKAT CLUB
The origin of all kinky parties. Founded in 1994 by Simon Thaur and Kirsten Krüger (who still enforces the door policy!). This is where Berlin's sex-positive scene began. Three dance floors, legendary UV-lit pool, and dark alcoves. Saturday CarneBall Bizarre draws crowds of 1,000-2,500 from across Europe.
Saturday: Arrive 9-10 PM. Entry €20 cash (card at bar). Strict dress code: latex, leather, PVC, fetish wear only. From 8-10 PM, naked quartet by pool. At 9 PM, tango zone starts. Photography forbidden.
From 8 PM to 10 PM on Saturday, a naked quartet plays by the pool. You can sit, chat, have a drink - no rush, you can find a spot. Also from 9 PM, there's a separate zone in the club where people dance tango all night. At 9 PM they teach you to dance, and then you find a partner inside the room.
Friday - check the KitKat website or Instagram in advance to see which organization is hosting. Could be a kinky party, fetish, or gay event. Fridays are also top!
Wednesday - Symbiotika - every Wednesday. Great place, but not always the whole club is open (sadly). Depending on the crowd, they open different floors.
Payment at KitKat: Cash or card at the bar.
Kate's Insider Tip: I always go Friday + Saturday, and I can spend two days in a row at KitKat or combine it with other venues.
SYMBIOTIKA (Every Wednesday @ KitKat)
Weekly event at KitKat Club with great atmosphere and music.
INSOMNIA
Top spot for couples and making great connections. Much smaller than KitKat, but really cool if you want to avoid the chaos and prefer fewer people. I recommend Friday events - they always invite different organizers.
PINKY PROMISE
Sex-positive queer community creating inclusive spaces across London and Berlin. All events listed on their website and Instagram.
WHERE TO FIND EVENTS
These are the two main clubs everyone goes to. However, there's a website JoyClub.de - lots of events you can attend. You can check in advance where it is, who it's for, and read descriptions of specific venues.
FetLife isn't super popular in Germany, JoyClub is better, but you can check both.

A very interesting city with lots of different techno events you can visit. But we're here for the kinky scene and what events are happening there.
KINKY-ONE
Large events, lots of people. Play areas, couple zones, music.
Kate's Recommendation: I recommend going, I like it there!
NURBOSE
Techno music is great, but...
My Honest Review: You can go if interested, but I didn't like it. Play areas are too cold, boring, and basic. Looks empty and not beautiful. People come there to smoke and dance. No coziness. Too crowded.
BEACHCLUB COLOGNE
Cool swinger club! They host events on Friday, Saturday, and wellness chill day on Sunday. Check the schedule on Instagram or Joy Club.
UNICORN COLOGNE
Sex-positive events. I've never been, just saved it - you can check it out and go.

SYMBIOTIKA (from Berlin)
The legendary Symbiotika from Berlin is coming to Vienna!
ON THE EDGE
This is NOT a typical European kinky event. This is NOT a kinky party. The price point is significantly higher than regular kinky parties - around €140 per person.
They position themselves as a luxury experience. Events run 2-3 hours. You need to check what type of event it is - some are show-only experiences where you watch performances, while others include play areas.
Kate's Note: These are premium, curated experiences. Check the event description carefully before booking to understand if it's a show or an interactive play event. Prices reflect the exclusive nature - expect to pay €140+ per person.

Paris has a private kinky scene that's best discovered through FetLife and personal connections.
SWINGER CLUBS
Paris has several established swinger clubs that are worth exploring:
Le Pandora Club - Elegant atmosphere
Le Mask - Upscale venue
Le Marquise Club - Popular spot
Kate's Recommendation: These clubs offer a sophisticated Parisian experience.
FINDING PRIVATE EVENTS
Many kinky events in Paris are private and by invitation. Check FetLife for community gatherings and private parties.
Insider Tip: The best events in Paris are often invitation-only. Connect with the community on FetLife to get access.
London is one of the most developed kinky locations in Europe with an incredible variety of amazing events. It's probably the most popular destination people travel to after Berlin! The scene here is massive, diverse, and consistently high-quality.
KLUB VERBOTEN
Founded in London in 2016, bringing Berlin's energy to the UK. Members-only club that bridges techno raves and fetish parties. Dark techno, custom BDSM furniture, and a young crowd that knows how to party AND play. Expanded to Berlin in 2022.
Strict dress code enforced: latex, leather, PVC, rubber, metal. Online tickets only - no door sales. "If you could wear it to a cocktail bar, you can't wear it here." High standards for consent, safety, and community.
Kate's Note: Where techno meets kink. Young, vibrant crowd with zero compromise on dress code or safety standards.
TORTURE GARDEN
Running since 1990, TG is Europe's largest fetish club with 1,000-2,500 attendees. Founded by Allen Pelling and David Wood when London's scene was "getting boring." What started with 100 people has become legendary - Dita Von Teese made her UK debut here, fashion icons like Jean Paul Gaultier and Alexander McQueen drew inspiration from the crowd.
World-class performers, elaborate themed sets, fashion shows, BDSM dungeons. The dress code is infamously strict: latex, leather, PVC, corsetry, theatrical uniforms only. "If you could wear it to the shops, you can't wear it here." International crowd flies in from across Europe for these nights.
Kate's Note: Bucket-list material. Over 30 years of fetish excellence with unmatched production quality. Door policy is NO JOKE - full fetish wear required.
KILLING KITTENS
WOW! A top-tier organization that's been redefining the scene. They host incredible parties and even luxury cruises - yes, kinky parties on cruise ships! Check their website for the full range of experiences.
PINKY PROMISE
Sex-positive queer community creating inclusive spaces across London and Berlin. All events listed on their website and Instagram.
JOYRIDE
Joyride is a space to rave, play and connect while prioritising pleasure and exploration. If you are looking for a hot, sweaty dancefloor with custom-designed playrooms and electronic beats then look no further.
Note: There are several more organizations in London - these will be included in the updated version of the guide later!

HOW TO SPOT SAFE EVENTS
Whether you're browsing FetLife, JoyClub, or other platforms, here's how to recognize quality, safe events vs. ones you should avoid.
Clear Event Information Detailed description of what to expect, venue address (or clear instructions on how to get it), ticket prices upfront, dress code explicitly stated.
Visible Safety Policies Consent rules clearly written, awareness team or DMs (dungeon monitors) mentioned, photo policy stated, what happens if rules are broken.
Professional Communication Organizers respond to questions promptly and professionally, they have active social media with real photos from past events, clear contact methods.
Community Reputation Positive reviews from multiple attendees, events run regularly (not one-offs), organizers are known in the community, other established organizers attend.
Vetting Process Some form of screening (profile check, questions, references for private events), couples and singles policies are clear, guest limits maintained.
Proper Venue Licensed venue or well-established private location, proper facilities (bathrooms, coat check, play areas), security or staff present.
Inclusive & Respectful Language Welcome to all genders/orientations (unless it's a specific community event), body-positive messaging, respectful communication about boundaries.
Vague or Missing Information No clear venue details, prices change or are unclear, last-minute location reveals without good reason, no dress code mentioned.
No Safety Policies Consent not mentioned anywhere, no awareness team, unclear what happens if someone breaks rules, "anything goes" mentality.
Pressure Tactics "Limited spots - book NOW!", aggressive sales language, guilt-tripping if you ask questions, pushy follow-ups.
Single Male Focus Events that heavily recruit single men but make it difficult for women/couples, "ladies free" but men pay high fees (often means poor ratio), aggressive recruitment of women.
No Online Presence No social media, no photos from previous events, brand new organizer with no history, can't find any reviews or mentions.
Sketchy Venue Someone's random apartment (for large events), no proper facilities, unclear if venue knows it's a kinky event, residential area complaints.
Disrespectful Communication Organizer asks inappropriate personal questions, makes sexual comments during booking, doesn't respect your boundaries in messages.
Negative Community Feedback Multiple complaints about safety, people warning others to avoid, stories of consent violations, organizers have bad reputation.
- Google the organizer and venue - look for reviews
- Check their social media - do they post regularly? Are there real people in photos?
- Ask questions in the community - "Has anyone been to X event?"
- Read the event description carefully - are safety policies clear?
- Tell someone where you're going - share location with a trusted friend
- Trust your gut - if something feels off, don't go
- Bring a friend if possible - especially for your first time
- Know your exit strategy - how will you leave if needed?
GENERAL TIPS FOR NEWCOMERS
At most kinky parties, the dress code is strictly enforced. Prepare in advance:
- Latex, leather, fetish wear
- Erotic lingerie, body art
- Creative costumes
- Avoid regular street clothes
- Always ask permission before any contact
- "No" means "no" - respect boundaries
- Look for the Awareness Team if you need help
- Photos are usually prohibited everywhere with your own phone. There may be photographers on site
- Arrive early for your first time (easier to get in, shorter queue)
- Bring cash (not everywhere accepts cards) or a plastic card - you can't bring phones inside
- Check the specific event rules in advance
- JoyClub.de - main platform for finding events in Germany
- FetLife.com - international social network for the kink community
- Instagram - follow organizers for current information
